A CELEBRATION OF DEATH

If it is true that God gave America four more years to repent and to turn back to Him, then we have answered Him with a resounding “NO.” And while some Christians are praying for revival in our land, many are still thumbing their noses at Bible Prophecy, the very means by which God shares His overall agenda with us. We don’t want to hear it, because we have agendas of our own.

But when New York lit up the one world trade center (The very symbol of our arrogance and rebellion against the warnings of God) in pink to celebrate the passing of a bill that makes abortion legal right up to the day of a child’s birth, we are forced to admit that we are no better as a people than Herod, or Pharaoh, or any other tyrants or heathen groups that has slaughtered babies throughout history.

It doesn’t much matter what form of rationalization a person may use to excuse this type of outright murder, it is still murder and in fact it is a slaughter of the innocent and the helpless and God hates it with a passion.

Interestingly God speaks to Israel in Leviticus 18:20, 21 and here, where He is establishing the foundational laws of human decency, He couples the two things together by which America and the world are also thumbing their nose at God openly today. It says:

“Neither shall you give any of your offspring to offer them to Molech; nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am the Lord. You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”

Then God says: “For whoever does any of these abominations, those persons who do so shall be cut off from among their people.” Lev. 18:29

Then in Leviticus 20:2 God lets us know how serious this is by saying: “You shall also say to the sons of Israel, any man from the sons of Israel or from the aliens sojourning in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech, shall surely be put to death.

Next God says: “As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists to play the harlot after them I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people” Lev. 20:6 and again in verse 13 God says: “IF there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltiness is upon them.”

Okay, so let’s tally up America’s and Israel’s score. The two nations in this world that have called themselves by God’s name are also the leaders in these abominations.

  1. Idolatry is rampant in America. Molech and Baphomet basically rule the entertainment industry and the political centers of America. They are the gods behind child sacrifice.

  2. Both America and Israel are chief supporters and champions of all forms of homosexual behavior, passing laws in favor of and celebrating openly in the streets and our nation’s capitols this abomination even as Sodom of old celebrated it.

  3. Witchcraft is the fastest growing “religion” in America today.

As for witches and spirit mediums, God said: “As for a man or a woman, if there is a medium or a spiritist among them, they shall surely be put to death; they shall be stoned with stones, their bloodguiltiness is upon them.” Lev. 20:27.

Today people may scoff at these “outdated and draconian laws” saying that we have become more tolerant and loving and more than that they actually bring it right into the church and pretend to honor these things that God abhors.

But why does God abhor these things? It is because they represent a nation that is in the final stages of rebellion and spiritual collapse. They are like a stage 4 cancer that has taken over the body to the point where no medicine can cure it any longer.

“Therefore God gives them over in the lusts of their heart to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them…and although they know the ordinance of God that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same , but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. “Romans 1:24, 32

“But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to every man according to his deeds. “ Romans 2:5, 6.

Should not God’s people be weeping between the porch and the altar? How is it that we have become so complacent that we no longer see the guilt of our nation or recognize that we are in open rebellion against God?

I really believe that God stepped in and gave America one last chance to repent. He used Trump to do it and it doesn’t much matter whether Trump is a good guy or a bad guy. The bible shows us clearly that God uses whom He will to accomplish His purposes and He has often given us kings either to reward us for turning to Him, or to punish us for turning away from Him.

We as Christians need not be either the judge or the jury in these matters. God is both Judge and Jury and His verdicts are in the books. And if we are true Christians then we will live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and we don’t make ourselves out to be better than anyone else… we just believe God and that He is Creator of mankind and knows what is best and what will destroy us if left unchecked.

All of our sins are coming home to roost right now and we see the terrible unrest and turmoil in the world and if we are honest we have to admit, that every one of our woes are caused by our own actions.

“For thus says the high and exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy, I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.” Isa 57:15

There is certain arrogance even among some Christians today. We call ourselves a Christian nation. We picture ourselves as being on a glory train to world dominance, when in fact, Christ chooses mangers to sleep in and humble hearts in which to dwell. He looks for those who weep because of the abominations that have overtaken the land. It is not ours to judge, but to weep. It is not pride that causes us to believe God’s Word, but humility and brokenness. We know that our stand for truth may someday cost us our lives, so we don’t throw words around carelessly. But America has been marked for judgment and so watchmen and prophets must warn the people or risk becoming false prophets.

The Lord told Ezekiel to put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst. Ez. 9:4 and then in verses 9, 10 He said:

”The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great and the land IS FILLED WITH BLOOD AND THE CITY IS FULL OF PERVERSION; for they say, “The Lord has forsaken the land and the Lord does not see!” But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor shall I spare, but I shall bring their conduct upon their heads.” Ez. 9:10. And then the chapter ends with an ominous note saying:

“Then behold the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case reported saying, “I have done just as Thou hast commanded me.” Ez. 9:11 (An interesting number)

This was obviously an angel who had been sent forth from heaven to evaluate the condition of Israel and coincidentally, this is also the chapter in which the glory of God departed from the Sanctuary and from Israel.

Do we know what time it is? Do we understand that we are being weighed in the balances? Do we understand that America seems to be largely missing from the list of nations given in the last days? We claim to be the protectors of Israel and yet in the coming wars with Israel, the nations stand back and God must defend Israel Himself, but He does not do so without a major purging and cleansing of Israel in which 2/3 of the population is destroyed.

We think that God has turned into a cream puff… that He has conformed to our new definitions of Him… that He has changed His mind about what constitutes sin and righteousness. So we call good evil and evil good and we think that we are boosting ourselves up the ladder of evolution when in fact we have been weighed in the balances and found wanting.

If we are praying for revival then we must by all means humble our hearts, because God dwells in the humble and contrite heart. We must also remember that obedience is the highest form of worship and not that which we do with strobe lights and fog machines and self- worship.

In our arrogance we have sought to imitate the presence of God with special effects… but the glory is departing and many are turning to the worship of another god… one who condones their sins.

“Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple and the temple was filled with a cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord. Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.” Ezekiel 10:4, 7.

So the glory of the house of Israel departed and when it eventually returned it came housed in the body of an infant in a manger. Immanuel… God is with us. Yeshua the Son of God.

Once again the nations are rejecting not only God, but also His Son and Jesus informs us that when we reject the Son, we reject the Father also saying:

“He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me commandment what to say and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:48-50.

Today we pretend that God has set Jesus to change things… to alter the truth, but God says that He is the same yesterday, today and forever and it is He who speaks to us through His Son. God brought the ministry of the letter of the Law to and end because it could not change hearts. So, through the sending of the Holy Spirit, God wrote His law on our hearts, so that He could actually transform us by His Spirit.

The Holy Spirit did not change the truth and He didn’t come to change the truth… rather He came to change us. We are now temples of the Holy Spirit and we are learning to live by that Spirit rather than by the flesh. So let us be humble of hearts. Let us serve the Lord with thanksgiving. Let us worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, for of such worshippers the Father seeks.
