The listening goals for beginning-level learners with exercise design in bottom-up processing namely discriminating between phonemes. Students focus on different sounds of words, listening for morphological endings. Students focus on verbs which end in -s or–es, recognizing Syllable, being aware of sentences fillers in informal speech, selecting details from the text.

Siswa fokus pada kata kerja yang diakhiri dengan kata-kata, mengenali suku kata, menyadari pengisi kalimat dalam pembicaraan informal, memilih rincian dari teks.
