Who Am I? What separates myself from others?

in #aceh7 years ago

Hello! I am a 21 year old self made entrepreneur and investor. I have a beautiful woman and together we have the most adorable son.

Life is great! But it wasn't always so great, like everyone we had our ups and downs. In fact, Since 2014 I was on a long journey finding my place in the world, but it started when I dropped out of college my first month in. I know, typical drop out, I was stoned when I walked out too, I am not recommending you do this by the way or bashing college, however I do think we could find a better system of education.

Well, after getting kicked to the streets and couch hopping from home to home, my girlfriend got pregnant. Crazy? How in the world is a kid like me going to raise a kid? I didn't have a choice but to clean up my act, and get serious. Keep in mind I have always been ambitious, part of the reason I dropped out of college was to be an entrepreneur, I was just poorly educated on what I was getting into.

Guys...... I'm going to keep this short and share more stories throughout my time here on steemit, but I have been through the lowest of lows, I have experienced pain, depression, fear on extreme scales, but I never gave up.

My lovely lady and I share a home in a beautiful location in San Diego with our 10 month old son, I run a social media consulting agency, launching a social media training with a close friend and influencer who has 500k following her, and we are getting ready to move to LA once our lease is up to continue our growth in business and life.

Thank you for reading! Excited to share more stories on this wonderful platform, will be doing contest and give aways as well! #Happy4thofJuly

I completely agree about the college experience. There are benefits to going but not enough of a benefit to justify the cost. So much general education in most schools and not enough getting exposed to your career. You are pushed to get internships and those are exploitative in many cases and often not useful.

I am energized to hear that someone got out of the college scam and despite unplanned events and struggles, is choosing to envision and create the life they want! Best of luck to you and your family!

I agree with you too, it's an old system and it needs to evolve with the world. Especially when our children are educated early on through little sing alongs and movies and YouTube and Netflix. It's not just entertainment, it's how people learn now through the entertainment.

Thank you! I am excited to share all the goals we reach on steemit!
