This is a quick registration tutorial for the MSP [Minnow Support Project] as it has undergone some changes and old tutorials might be a problem and confusion to follow. So without much hassle and talking lets get on to "How to get registered with MSP bot"

                                     Step 1 :

Open the #registration channel by clicking on it, if you are on mobile than you can slide the panel from the left and click on it to open the channel.

                                     Step 2 :

Enter the registration command which is - $register steemitusername [ remember username is without @ symbol] and press enter.

                                     Step 3 :

The minnowsupport bot will reply you with a message consisting of the account to send money to which is msp-reg, your specifically generated MEMO which you have to use while sending money and the amount of money you will be sending that is 0.001 STEEM/SBD.
Note:
Only use the MEMO that is generated for you, using any other memo or entering wrong memo due to typo, your registration may not be completed. Its advised to copy paste the account name and memo to be sure it isn't incorrect.

                                     Step 4 :

After that go to your steemit account and click on the "Wallet" tab as shown in pic below, and click on the SBD/STEEM amount to open the menu and click on "Transfer" to open up a dialog box for filling up information and sending money.

                                     Step 5 :

Now as the dialog box is opened up fill in the information as below:
TO - msp-reg
AMOUNT - 0.001
MEMO - Your generated MEMO.
and hit submit to send it.

                                     Step 6 :

Wait for a few minutes, after that the bot will automatically confirms your registration and update your role to "registered" and than you will be able to use channels that were previously locked for you which include upvote and postpromotion channels.

What upgrades we have undergone in the registration process?
Firstly we had two bots in past which were @mjaki and @minnowsupport but now its just one that is @msp-reg specifically made for registration only.
Secondly the message that bot replied earlier were somewhat long and confusing so now its just a simple message with details you need to register.
Thirdly the previous problem of re-entering the registration command after sending money was a bit hassle and was also required a moderator to update your role in order to access certain channels and get upvotes. But now its completely automated, means after sending money with your specific memo, the bot will automatically confirm the registration and update your roles no need to wait for long time now.
Some rules you need to follow in MSP:
No use of $register command outside of #registration channel and no use of $upvote command outside of #upvote channel.
No steemit link posting in any channel except #postpromotion or if in above case.
No spamming things, vote begging, follow for follow scheme, or any other things like that which violate the rules of MSP community.
If you are found to abuse MSP community bot by multi-accounts than you will be banned permanently from the MSP.
If any of the moderators think that your post are not of good quality content than they might mute you, in that case you need to try to make your post of good quality, usually a post with just an image, single video only, one or two line written post without any specific information related to it, or memes are considered of low quality post which can lead to your account being muted.
While chatting in #general-shallowend or #general-deepend, you are required to follow a general etiquette which include not talking about things which offends someone intentionally. You will be warned about and asked to taper your behavior and chat to meet the general criteria by moderators which you should be following without further arguing.
