All of us... go through this when someone hurts us with their words or actions, and at that time we have these negative thoughts, and a lot of the times it's very hard to get a hold of ourself 
but remember, that person is living their life, not knowing or caring even about what they have done to you, so first of all, Allah is the one we have in our hearts, there is no room for anything else, it is the hardest thing to do, and secondly, pray for yourself and your enemy, and ask Allah to guide you both,
I have tried it and it brought peace to my heart to let go of all the hurt that people have done to me...
It is still a work in progress, remember Allah, make dhikr, for when we remember Allah, he remembers us,read Quran, hold on to the rope of Allah, Salat is where we make the connection with Allah in Sujud, Islam is surrendering willingly to be Allah's slave, and that is how we gain peace, and Allah knows best...
