Hey! I created a new team on an app called Charity Miles. They have sponsors who pay 10 cents per mile for cycling and 25 cents per mile for walking or running to the charity you select. I selected the Wounded Warrior Project. My team is @Christians_Care. We now have 21 members on our team and have donated over 6000 miles. I invite you to join me.

I give my YouTube vlogs the main title of "Fitness Over 60." It is my goal to build a community of like-minded riders whose purpose is to get and stay active and fit into their senior years. At 60, I see myself as just entering those years. I am not as fit as I would like to be, but neither am I trying to become a superstar athlete. I am becoming more fit all the time with:
-Regular cycling,
-Elliptical exercises
-Frequent resistance training (#x3bar) and
-Ketogenic/Intermittent Fast eating
are the main elements of my fitness plan.

I love deadlifts :)

Me, not so much. I am very concerned about my back. I have come to believe that my back problem can be partly blamed on not enough core and lower back strength. Thus, deadlifts, performed well, should improve my back, not worsen it.

What do you mean by saying back problems?

I injured my lower back on a construction site almost 40 years ago. I was very big and very strong, but I wasn't always smart how I used it. I picked something up improperly and have been in pain ever since.

So you have been diognized with an injury or just you just think that you have? Do you have a proof from doctors tgat you have problems with a back?

I was diagnosed way back in 1979.

What is the diagnosis? Herinated disk? It seems that you do deadlifts without pain just builded up the fear. The best Treatment is everyday deadlift- maybe you are still doing deadlifts not in correct way and trying to lift more than your body can handle. Specialy than you neglet your back muscles for 30 years. If you can do deadlifts with 30-40kg without any pain- everything is fine :) just keep doing it :)

Its been awhile Rev. U r still looking strong😎💪

I lost you on Steem. Just figured out everyone moved here. :-)

Yea.. most of us are here now Rev. Welcome back😎🍺🍺
