Clearing Land

I spent a good portion of my day outside yesterday working on my yard. Not only was there more raking of the devil balls, I also took advantage of my neighbors excavator and cleared an additional 1/3 acre (or so) of land so i can throw down grass seed in the spring and extend my yard 😎👍

Its nice being able to yard work in the middle of winter, I am not used to that. I come from the north so the snow and ice stops all yard work the entire winter. But not in the south 😉

So I will keep at it this winter and hopefully come spring time everything will be ready for new grass seed and more fencing.. Its a process..

I do miss doing yard work. Usually here in Colorado we can do yard work till late November but then not until the end of March. Great count!

Yeah, I did enjoy that when I lived there, short and not terribly cold winters ( at least compared to Wi). Its funny cuz people never believe me when I tell them Colorado has mild winters (well east of the Rockies at least 😉). !BEER 🍻

Looks like you might need some fill dirt in those low spots as well! We are covered in snow right now with more coming tonight, so I definitely know what you are talking about!

Yeah, I still have a good amount of work left on the yard. I do have a bunch of dirt but i am waiting until I can seed to throw it down, otherwise, my dogs will be rolling in it. lol. I am also going to be dropping some of those trees so that has to be done too before i really fix the lawn. It's always something LoL..
