Assuming you take this precise message to the debate-stage in 2020, you better have at least one or two "shining examples" of how a local anarchoVol community works. ...or you will be wasting an opportunity we probably will never see again. The general population will just tune you out... NO ONE TRIES TO SELL SOMETHING WITHOUT A WORKING PROTOTYPE! Why do libertarians ignore this basic marketing tenet? I have been asking this question since 1989 after having run into a stonewall of resistance from people in Nevada (at that point, America's most libertarian state, bar none) while, as his Campaign CoOrdinator there, trying to sell Ron Paul for President '88 and the LP platform.
The Free State Project somewhat understands it, but never organized a Free Town Project to help sell it. Thus, stagnation since 2003 (when they decided on NH) The Libertarian Party of the USA? ssshhhhh. CoIntelPro at work; I get it. I guess every ExBoard of the state affiliates, too. But the LP is so small, this viseGrip can be so easily be broken. We saw what Howard Stern did in 20 minutes at the 1994 state convention in NY!
LP-Texas has Patrick Smith running for governor on your exact platform NOW. There are 254 counties in Texas (a state which already prohibits county commissioners from legislating!)... some 50 of them with populations of 5k or less. Pick some targets with which to flood the "Freedom!" book. Quite an inexpensive mailing to one post office at the county seat in most cases). I think the "Big Easy" flood is great, but what if, simultaneously we actually found a county where 80% of the habs passionately embrace the book?! Not an unreasonable prospect for a people who chose to live in such remote areas with very little "establishment-- created" distractions effecting them! That is where to begin manifesting this domino effect you are promoting.
"Show me, don't tell me." So when you are on that debate stage you can SHOW America something to which we are aspiring with "localization". Presently, it's almost too abstract for even individualist-oriented libertarians to grasp, no less trained parrots, monkeys, jackAsses, elephants, sheople, chickens and ostrich living under the delusional spell and promises of communism/fascism. On the local level of governance (or no gov cooperation), I have some unanswered questions.... which frankly, CAN'T BE ANSWERED BY POLI-SCI THEORISTS in a bubble. There are far too many variables for us to deal with in the abstract "what if?" world. The actual practice of AnarchoVol'ism is a REQUIREMENT to get people out of your book and into reality. AnarchoForko needs to be put into effect somewhere 52 weeks a year, not just one week in Mexico. Yes?
How about a little common sense marketing infusion into the campaign? This also gives amazing opportunity to simultaneously grow state affiliates with/for your effort rather than degenerating into a "cult of personality" hanging solely on your every move. I assume you want this to be a Freedom Train... not a Kokesh Karavan, yes? ...something that will sustain long after you retire. Let's not see a repeat of the Ron Paul Revolution where it died when he left (or was thrown off) the stage. (or was undermined by his campaign staff, twice).
Why do we see zero evidence of any Kokesh for noPresident 2020 campaign at the state level after you visit and leave? Do you have ANY Campaign Directors at the state level? Are there any vids posted by any of them? I'd love to see local activism going on when you aren't there "workin' it." I am in Michigan; you were just here at their convention. I think that's a good point...what makes socialism appealing to people is that they point to Canada's "free health care!" or gun control appealing is "but Australia!" and never mind that there are other factors, all they drool over is the end result.
What I have noticed is that socialist drool over the fictional results they believe in and actually cannot accept when the facts show their dreams have not been made reality by their efforts. The fact of the perfection in our world is that things are not perfect and so reality requires self examination in order to grow the soul. Not being able to accept the corrections that facts can bring is proof of unconsciousness. Blind following the blind in the real world is not conducive to survival. LOL
And we see evidence of it in people's insistence on doubling down--or tripling or quadrupling or!--on failed policies. We have so many examples of failure worldwide in both socialism and Communism, millions dead, and yet people squeeze their eyes shut and ignore history in order to demand another experiment.
Very nice piece. It looks like there's a couple of years where we seek out or start our own example of such communities. I'm sure there's a community out there somewhere folks are existing outside of the states reach.
Or we create one, the federal idea of one centralized government with a faith backed fiat doesn't work. We need to get the word out that all these private corporations are just collection agencies for the rich. With localized cooperatives and galvanized internet support we maybe able to break apart the Left/Right falsehood. We need to bring in other strategists on this like Jake Morphonios @morphonios, Brian Young @highimpactflix, people that also understand how the deeply the corruption has entrenched itself. We need to get more in on the initiative.
That's how we build upon Samuel E. Konkan 3rds vision of the Agora. Small communities grow into large bubbles that eventually get so big that they begin to overlap. Then it's just small communities of statism that will be shrinking away. No shots fired, just a melting away of statest influence. I see you've picked a couple big names to help out.
Yes, something akin to Konkan or Robert Nozick. Minarchist communities could work. It's basically a return to the agora of the Greek polis. There's really nothing new under the sun.
At this point, we need to do something soon to get our government back. They are doing everything possible to start WW3 and force both Russia and China's hand. All this meddling in Syria has nothing to do with the claims they're making.
It sounds good but, I do not want to "get our government back". I want to end slavery which means...no more " government". The Agora has no place for the state. We're all adults here & we don't need 'em. So long as the minarchy is based on voluntary association & people can choose to participate or no, then I'm all in. However, if the state pretends to have conscripted authority then, it's illegitimate & should be resisted to the fullest extent & capabilities of the population.
Also now is the best time to hammer down through the middle, I think alot of people will snap out of the Illusion once they see the results of the FANGS debacle
The Bible explains that the meek shall inherit the earth. Today one has to look up the etymology of the word meek to understand why that is so. The truth is your description of what is happening politically, is reason to believe that none involved are associated with the meek. Might be a good idea for people to seek the meek as leaders. LOL

Have you read Kokesh's Freedom. I have read over half of it and found so many error's of world view that I have begun to doubt the plan is workable. Example he doesn't comprehend the difference between money and fiat currency. While I agree with most of his moral positions and respect him for them, I don't think someone who thinks that people's confidence changes the nature of reality is actually capable of correcting reality for the people. Of course I could be wrong.

The meek would not be humbled by a unlawful and illegal jail visit. One mistake that many people make about the meek is thinking of them as easy pray. Not a mistake that is made often. Meek is referring to a knowledge of the limitation we are subjected to in this world. The infinite is not something that a person limited experience allows for certainty. You cannot privatize government functions. One really needs to look up the difference between a De Jure Government and a De Facto Conspiracy Corporation.
When a private agencies "De Facto Conspiracy Corporation operates it operates for the sol purpose of making a profit.
When a De Jure Govenment operates it operates to accomplish the goal provided at its creation as a non profit organization.
The difference in the 1900 is 265 million people where executed (murdered) under De Facto Conspiracy Corporations.
Under De Jure Government 1985 people where executed during the same period of time. Is my best estimate.

You're absolutely correct, government in theory cannot be privatized. The Constitution does not allow it, yet that is exactly what they have done. They have commingled the public and the private sides. All the thousands of so called "government" agencies are private, for profit corporations under the umbrella of the de facto US INC. All your depts of public safety, chambers of commerce, anything and everything registered, that is put out into the public- is swallowed up by government and funds the dead, corporate beast system
