If you are an Adderall recipient in the state of TN, please be aware that you are being drug tested for marijuana, CBD oils which are now legal in the state of TN and other herbal substances that can result in you being denied a schedule 2 or above medications. I am an Adderall patient and have been on the medication since 2005, almost 15 yrs.

I was cut off at the time of my refill appointment and denied my medication from my Dr. after 5 yrs of prescribing at Signal Mountain Health and Wellness center after failing a urine test for marijuana.
As many of you know, that if a drug is strong enough to schedule it a 2, it must have some withdrawal and mental repercussions. The medical field does not care because of the government restraints and laws.
I since have found a doctor in Georgia that has gotten me back to good, however the 2 months of no medications in between could've very well been my demise.
By the state and the medical groups that operate under them, you are receiving less than adequate care due to the laws in your state and could be causing a real fall in mental health if this continues. Is this a safe practice? How could you or your family be impacted? What is the sense in classifying a drug a narcotic and then refusing a patient of 15 yrs?
So, what are your thoughts?
