A Dollar A Day charitable giving project - another outing for the Charity Jukebox - supporting A Dollar A Day & the Musicians of Steem

Last week on a special edition of My Life In 8 Songs I introduced the Charity JukeBox.

This provided the facility for members of the audience to request a song from the list below in return for a donation of 2 SBD or 2 steem.

The big win-win is that half of each donation goes to A Dollar A Day, the charity I run on the steem blockchain, and half to the musician whose track has been requested.

Over the weeks I have been running the musician special editions of My Life In 8 Songs I have collected over 200 mp3s and SoundCloud links.

In the show last week we raised 11.5 SBD and 1 steem for A Dollar A Day, and a similar amount for the musicians whose songs were requested.

My great thanks to @d-vine, @onemedia, @soundwavesphoton and @taphophilia who made donations to request songs.

I am going to have another go with the Charity Jukebox in the second hour of this week's My Life In 8 Songs to see if it has got lasting appeal.

If not I'll store it at the back of the garage for a dark winter's night when we are looking for something different to do.

So if you would like to listen to a particular song again, all you will need to do is donate a couple of steem or SBD during the second hour of the show.

Half of what is donated goes to my A Dollar A Day charity and half to the musician whose track has been requested.

To request a song just send the 2 SBD or 2 steem to @pennsif, with a memo with the name of the musician and the song, and I will play it on the show.

After the show I will tally up all the requests and send the monies on to A Dollar A Day and to the musicians whose songs were requested. I will put all requests and transactions in a follow-up post for full transparency.

Musicians - I have taken the liberty of including your songs in the Charity Jukebox by virtue of the fact that a) you allowed me to play your songs on my show, and b) you will be paid 1 SBD or 1 steem each time one of your songs is played. If you would prefer your songs not to be included please let me know and I will remove them.
