I guess there isn't much difference between the dowry system in India and here except of course, that the bride's family pays in India. The list is provided before hand to allow the groom's family prepare but, no matter how completely the groom thinks he had met the requirements, the bride's family would still pick holes in the list and demand reparation.
Peterson was not meant to be the center of the story. He was just used as a means of introducing the main theme and to show that most of the people responsible for making customary wedding difficult may not necessarily be related and they may not even know the bride.
The images are original because I took them in an actual customary wedding with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Android phone and I used Art Filter App from Playstore to change them to art work. So, I guess you could say that there is a digital hand behind the pictures. LOL.

Seems you are quite familiar with indian dowryvsystem...i just tried to co relate the story and actual scenarios...i was looking for the 4 feet guy peterson and thought of some miracle during the wedding...you got bit clever😉 may be its a way to keep reader more intetested. ...appreciated. 👌
Well the story ends on a happy note that is the best thing...goo to see some original photographs...i can easily imagine the whole process...pretty interesting way to present @churchboy...loved it....steem on

Hahahaha. I have had an Indian friend named Agnus or Hassini since 2000. You can imagine that we have been there for each other through stuff like relationships and marriage so yeah, I picked up a few things from her.
Yes, that was the idea. Peterson was an interesting character. It is unfortunate that this particular story was not about him. Maybe next time :)
