My First Coloring Page Design!

in #adultcoloring3 years ago

Today I am so excited to share my first ever designed coloring page with you all!

Every douts, and insecurity I have is making an appearance in my brain right now. Such is life. I will post my coloring page anyway because looking at the page colored and not colored makes me smile inside and out.

To Print out this page to Color, Right Click on the image and "Open Image in New Tab". Then print it to your printing device.

The coloring page is straightforward when you first look at it. I made it that way for a reason. We are all individuals. We all have our style we bring to everything we do. I left room for those that want to use their imagination and add to the overall picture. For those who don't have a lot of time, the page is simple enough to finish in one sitting.

How I colored the page.

I like to use markers or watercolor as my first layer to a coloring page. This technic helps me to not get overwhelmed when looking at a blank page.

I then go in with colored pencils to add depth and definition to the page.

I love seeing the page come alive the more you color.

I will be making a video showing how you can make a simple coloring page your own. I was too excited to share what I have already done to wait three more days before posting my coloring page.

I always leave the background for last. In this instance, a light blue sky was all I wanted to add.

I have learned so much by making this one page. I have so much more to know too! I can not wait to share it all with you. Thank you all for always having my back in everything I try and accomplish in life!

If you decided to download the page and color it please send me a copy so I can see it!!

Help someone smile today. It can not hurt you.

Oh my gosh!!! hehehehehe you did it miss!!!! the second post is DONE! hahahahaha

I love how you explained that you get in there first with base coloring (or watercoloring hehehe) to make the page not feel as overwhelming! I never thought of that before - but that works REALLY well!!!
because it kinda INVITES you to bring more detail here or there - without demanding it from you! hehehehehe

what a clever trick for my brain! LOLOL

for the first time, I noticed another curve of hers. last time it was her cute little boobs hahahahaha but this time - look at her adorable biceps!

and i love the shading you put across her nose and into her cheeks!!!! it makes her already-adorable smile even SO much more appealing!!!! like she just comes to life and you want to hug her!!!! hehehehe

i love it!!!!!!!!! and i'm so proud of you!!! your baby step today is accomplished!!! and you're THAT much closer to your destination! hehee

hint: we never really reach the destination, do we? hahaha its just a never-ending upwards spiral to better and better and better hehehehe
i love you!

we never really reach the destination, do we?

We do not LOLL BUT that is what makes life worth living for. To see what surprises and lessons we learn each day!

THANK YOU for being YOU!!

I am a tad overwhelmed and promise to write more later.

HUGS!

don't be silly!!! hehehe we talk in DM and comment and all that. no need to "catch up" on comments - i know your heart and you know mine! that's enough

oh - but yes - I'll always take the hug please hahahahahaha

HUG BACK! lol

I particularly like her little tree house. She has Tinkerbell powers and can grow and shrink like Antman. I see about printing this out for the kiddies, they are on a major princess kick right now and - they 'Queened' themselves with ceremonies today, it was super cute. Love you!

If you get it printed and they color it I would LOVE to see it!!!!!!!!

and PERFECT! every princess needs to be Queened :D

LOVE YOU!

OOOh is that @saffisara in a pink dress?

I wish :D but she is a warrior through and through and I can not think of her any other way :D

I'm no artist, so all this talk of base colors, shading, depth, and definition means nothing to me at all. Nevertheless, I plan to print this page and color it with colored pencils, even if it looks like a ten-year-old did it when I'm done.

That is the great thing about coloring is you just have to color to relax and make yourself happy.

I hope you find that. I would love to see it when you are done!!
