With 4 children 5 and under, our house has a LOT of energy! How do you keep 4 kids 5 and under from fighting? They dont want to share, or keep their distance. They do however want to explore the world and engage their bodies. When we first came accross forrest school for kids, we were mind blown. It doesnt happen in a classroom; the world is a classroom! With every material you could possibly need to build knowledge, skills, leadership and teamwork. 18422218_10158698605995253_6613537294953385465_o.jpg
We try to go on a few trails a week ; our favorite being the Avon Trail in Stratford. We pack a lunch, some water and are off for a few hours. We laugh in the face of "not a stroller friendly trail". We have been known to ditch the stroller half way through a trail and come back to it.

We have also found babywearing to be an essential tool to a successful hike! The kids take turns in the wagon, and pulling the wagon. We build forts; create nature mandalas, and make up stories about ancient Troll thrones in trees and fairy rings.

The forrest grasps a childs imagination; and sets it FREE. This is adventure school, forrest school, freedom school. This is homeschool.

It is good to integrate children with nature. @helgabloodaxe .

Yes! They love archery and singing to plants as well. We will make hunter gatherers of then yet =)

Nature is where kids shoulb be , I remember to often feel bored seating in classroom and always dreaming of what's outside the windows
