Jungle Peacock, a type of peacock that I spotted in the jungle of National Park Leuser Mountain. My team and i was walking in the woods and arrived in an area close to a large tree, there was something I was not used to seeing from a distance. It moves and is large above the ground. After I observed, it turned out to be an amazing creature actually! Jungle Peacock. The tail looks long and beautiful as well with its body, short legs and small head make this bird very charming. I forgot whether it was female or male. However, when they meet each other and want to mating, the male will dance to attract the female and they will dance in unique way. But fortunately on that moment I was not there.

See how beautiful the colors of the feathers is, it can hide in the jungle almost perfectly. In addition, i also found them several time, at several points of this place, which can be easily found, but mostly they will running away if spotted by human, but this time i was lucky to see it directly on its real environment.

Lucky you for getting to see one in the wild! They are well camouflaged! Nice post!

Hello dear friends.ho are you....

@melinda010100 thanks! yes i feel lucky for that moment, could see them in their real home!

howdy from Texas khey! wow that is one unusual bird, it is perfectly camoflaged by it's color to match the jungle colors! I didn't know that there were peacocks in the jungle so that's very interesting!
What were you guys doing out in the jungle?

Hi @janton! Yes its very interesting, they are well camoflaged, i almost not realized that it was there. We were there for the Orangutans jungle trekking, and luckily spotted peacocks too!

howdy again sir khey! wow you guys were tracking Orangutan? What for, what do you do when you find those Orangutans?

@janton to see one of the most unique primata in the world, Orangutans DNA 97% similar to human and they are only exist in Sumatra and Borneo. Otherways they might exist in any zoo but thats not we want. We want to see them in real jungle. How they walk, what they eat, how their social life thats interesting!

howdy again sir khey! so you and a team of people are studying Orangutans? You don't try to capture them?
