Ever wonder why people introduce themselves at the beginning of every video?
There’s a really good reason for that.
It’s about consistency, engagement and a way of saying hello, without being as generic.
But consistently introducing yourself can be a huge benefit as a creator. Not everyone in your audience has been there since day one, not all of them know you. So make sure every now and again, you reintroduce yourself.

True facts. You see it on game shows and news shows as well. They either start off introducing themselves or an announcer introduces them. "And now, here is the host of "Jeopardy!"... Alex Trebek!" Build familiarity and like you said, new people will know who they're listening to.
You're absolutely right! And what's interesting is that for a loyal viewer, you know what to expect and it's like second nature to hear the intro. But if the intro isn't there, suddenly the video becomes different.
