Yeah, Affirmations keep the dreams warm. They don't let our hopes down.
In my 9th grade, i read a similar story of an old man. During his young age he wanted to the government to create a job for an athlete who could perform in the annual function.
He struggled so much and never left hope. He went into politics and took him years to get selected in the government. Then he created that job. Until than, he was an old man of seventies.
After that he performed in the annual function himself and achieved his dream after so many years. I learned the great lesson from that story. We should have faith and affirmation to achieve something no matter how much time it takes. And everyone should think like that.
