Is there freedom after tyranny?

I read a story about man, freed from prison. I don't know if this man is real, if his crimes are real, if he is really free. Still, I ponder this story, and his character.

Here is the story's link

After reading the story, I imagine what it would take for this man to live, work, and love, as a free man.

Would every road be paved by the gravity of oppression? Would staunch bureaucracy, heavy handed diplomatic pressure, and political manipulation forever shadow his life?

Or

Could there be a path, that leads to a good life for this man, forged by a pursuit of freedom, goodwill, and reciprocity?

Perhaps this is fake news, or political fiction, used to manipulate and generate reactionary responses.

I invite you, to contemplate a path for this man's good life, created by any real methods, resources, techniques, and technologies there is in this world.

Can all the power in the world create peace for a single man?
