The process of converting cassava into a finish product is very interesting. Though there are different end products of it, we made ours into GARRI.
After uprooting the cassava, we peeled and took to the mill and it was processed. After the processing, it stayed for 2days in the mill where the water and starch was squeezed off. Today, we collected the already 'caked' cassava and filtered before frying to give it its finish look.
It was a very exciting experience as I was in all process; including the frying.
I missed learning how to do this. I'll still give it a try someday
