health risks of not drinking enough water

in #agua6 years ago

All of life we have been recommended to drink enough water daily to keep our body hydrated and prevent many diseases. However, many people are still not aware of the importance of drinking water every day and the role it plays in our body. Although many still ignore it, a large part of the health problems and disorders that often develop in people are due to lack of hydration and low water consumption.I will share problems caused by dehydration and lack of water in the body.

Fatigue
When we do not consume enough water and our body becomes dehydrated, the speed of enzymatic activity is reduced and fatigue appears. Fatigue is a health problem that makes us feel low in energy and tired most of the time.

Premature aging
Our body is composed, in more than 60%, of water and our organs depend largely on this valuable liquid to work properly. Drinking enough water every day helps your body fight free radicals and prevent premature aging of organs and skin.

Excess weight and obesity

Although water alone can not burn fat and make us lose weight, the truth is that it plays a very important role in healthy diets to lose weight. The consumption of water stimulates the elimination of toxins and wastes, provides satiety and is key to maintaining the rhythm of metabolism. When we do not drink enough water we are taking away these important benefits to our body.

High and low blood pressure

The consumption of water is key to eliminate toxins from the bloodstream and facilitate circulation. Our circulatory system needs water to function properly, since the volume of blood of the body is not enough to fill the whole set of arteries, veins and capillaries.

Constipation
In order for the stool to be properly formed and eliminated, it is necessary to have enough liquid in the body to help process the food and lubricate it. When we suffer from chronic dehydration, the body does not contain enough liquid to eliminate waste and begins to suffer constipation problems.

Respiratory problems
Water is key to have a strong immune system and prevent respiratory diseases. The mucous membranes of the respiratory region are slightly moist to provide a protective layer against air pollutants that can cause respiratory problems.

Urinary infections
Renal functions and the entire urinary system depend a lot on the amount of water ingested per day. When we are dehydrated and we do not provide enough water to the excretory system, we are exposed to different types of urinary infections such as cystitis. In this case it can be detected quickly by the dark yellow color and strong smell of urine.
