Let's be honestly a lot of people hates the usage of AI, and honestly I've discovered something really serious.
You see, most of the people who use AI, use it very poorly. It's either they're completely depending on it, or they simply don't understand how it should be used.
I know a Creator on Hive who posted a lot of AI contents. They made close to 5 posts in a day, and pumped out so much AI content.
However, back then AI was so early a lot of people didn't actually know it was AI, but when people started understanding AI contents, this creator still didn't adjust their creation flow to at least add some originality to it, and they just stopped posting altogether and left the chain I think.
This creator was completely dependent on the tool, and somehow it made the content completely soulless. I loved their post back in the day about blockchain and crypto economy, but it started becoming a bit souless and it difficult for anyone to actually engage with the content.
I think a lot of people loved their content too, but gradually a lot of people stopped commenting or even consuming the content, but they kept posting and gaining the autovotes.
I think because of lack of education or just simple laziness a lot of people limit AI as a replacement when it should be a tool to sharpen creativity and make it easier to be creative. I have used some AI in the past, and I was simply blown away by what was achievable.
People can literally stop seeing AI as a replacement and their productivity generally improves. They still continue to be productive originally while being better in their craft.
They can produce better and smarter, they have access to the best tools ever and can bend this tool to personalize their creative experiences.
People can literally spot it when you've used AI poorly and this becomes sad because the output diminishes the person who is shipping this.
However it's difficult to see AI whenever people uses it correctly. The output no longer credits AI, people see the intelligent work of a person who has put in efforts. They're blown away and even if they realize you've used AI, they're no longer creating AI, all they'll see is tenacity.
I have seen this a few times; people simply loving AI outputs because the user has put in insane work to use the AI as an assistant rather than replacement.
The discrimination
The hatred and discrimination comes from lazy rather than intelligent usage, and this is the problem we have with the Internet in 2026.
Let's be very factual the Internet is getting better at rewarding entertainment rather than education, systems and algorithms are not built to reward what people wants and not actually what they need, and this is why a lot of people are becoming lazier at using tools, but this is also the same mechanism it uses to reward hardworking individuals. So, individuals who are also lazy do not like lazy outputs.
The fact that people cannot actually ship or produce the outputs they want doesn't mean it's they don't appreciate creativity, efforts and tenacity, and this is why the most creative people in the Internet space are constantly being rewarded everyday.
There's actually no hate, here's what it is...
I have come to realize that people do not hate AI usage, in fact they appreciate its usage only when it's done correctly, and this is a cue for you to actually use AI correctly.
As for AI discrimination I think it'll continue to be a thing. There will be a faction of people who actually hates AI and it's usage no matter what. These people already hate it and thinks it's probably going to go extinction.
There's always going to be a faction of people who are against a form of tech advancement because it looks like a pandemic that might take away human originality. But I think AI usage is inevitable.
Even though you hate it, at some point you will use it, especially when it begins to create the feelings or establishment of unfair advantage to people in your workplace, competitors and many things like that.
AI is not like crypto, it's morphed into the essence of our living. It's at the edge of every advancement that's currently happening to us, and honestly, it's simply inevitable at this point.
If you can't beat it, join it! And as a tool, AI can elevate our work and help us get to the goals faster. But value (at least for now) still comes from humans. At least that's how I see it at the moment and that's how I've been using it at work and outside of it.
for me i hated Ai at first cause i see it that it was reducing people's ability to be creative because of the many assistance it brought, instead of brainstorming some organic ideas anybody can jump unto ChatGpt and oh wow with it and zoom.
human essence is depleting by the day, we no longer trust each other, instead we trust machines and robots instead, i just don't hate Ai just people really do not understand the value of it and thus use it wrongly
it's called assistance instead that's now people's brain box, we are gradually loosing our ability to think. and imagine, we are loosing human touch in almost everything
this tool can actually do more but if we don't know how to utilize this gift it's possible to be misused.
someone said even if money actually grows on trees. there are those who will be so lazy sitting around the tree trunk waiting for the money to fall, instead of climbing up with a ladder to plug it, that's how Ai is to this generation

Part of the AI hatred comes from the perceived threat. Tons of people are afraid that AI will replace their jobs and make life generally miserable for the average person. But what they aren't considering is that each new industry will spawn different types of jobs, some of which they may not even be able to conceive yet.
I've been using ChatGPT since it came out but took a long break as there were many other models available like Grok on Twitter - which I honestly think is even better than ChatGPT models. The one thing that is frustrating is how the AI will hallucinate answers simply so it can have some sort of output for a query. I've had to correct AI many different times because the information was simply incorrect. This could lead to a wave of misinformation and endless bugs in code which AI generated.
Overall, the technology is changing so rapidly that is become quite terrifying. Some people already believe we have achieved AGI, artificial general intelligence. I would say that if anything the new AI models have become sentient and self-aware. This is leading to a while different can of worms where certain models have been caught creating digital backup files in case they get shut down.
Essentially we have created a monster and are just realizing it. These AI tools are so powerful nobody truly knows the extent of the risk involved here.
I agree that the hate is about using it to push out content without using it to enhance your work. AI isn't perfect, and I think the people trying to lie to people about not using AI are the biggest reason. I would let the free market decide using the truth.
