RE: Scrutiny Layer?

in #ai5 days ago

Like they say, it's all good until it's not all fun and games anymore. There's so many different levels here to contemplate. Like passing cost off to consumers because of high energy consumption by data centers. If you want to "play" with, or build AI infrastructure, you should be part of the crowd paying for along with all the billionaires getting away with citizens losing their jobs over it, and not just AI jobs, but jobs being offshored in trade deals to open capacity on the grid for data centers.
You have to be living in a closet by now if you haven't figured out, as I was just mentioning in another comment, that part of the pandemic intent, during the shut down, was the starting point of shuttering businesses, forcing them out to increase capacity. The continuation of supply chain problems caused by ongoing different reasons, jacking prices, is for the same objective.
Then lets get on about exactly how, after thousands of years, they've suddenly thought they could now just march into the middle east and bring peace and prosperity. You wouldn't have to be living in a closet, you'd have to have your head stuck in the sand not to see that one coming using AI to control behaviors. So, yeah, like I said, it's all fun and games until it's not so fun. I am not saying don't build it, I am saying there should be limits, the people building the infrastructure should be responsible for all cost, including the cost of expanding the grid or finding alternative energy sources by those profiting off it, and there is no forced compliance with digital ID, banking, surveillance, etc.
