Yesterday's air drop was a little less crazy than day 1, but we still had an amazing response. We will be completing those drops shortly and are ready to announce the 3rd and final airdrop.

Air Drop #3

As I said, we had a great response to our first and second air drops, so much so that we have decided to end the air drops with this post. Between the free mining and the three airdrops, there will be over 2000 LOLZ in circulation with over 250 accounts having at least one LOLZ token. That should be sufficient for take off and we don't want to over saturate the tokens.

Today's airdrop is the same as yesterdays and you can earn up to 6 LOLZ tokens by completing the simple steps below.

Mining Update

We have met our first threshold goal of 500+ mined tokens and will be increasing the minimum holdings requirements. This means the free mining period will be over very soon.

So What is Next?

With the air drops wrapping up, we will begin to focus on our future plans. We have gotten a good start on our plans for adding random upvotes to tippers and authors. We are planning a unique curation bot that will also dovetail with our plans to implement a defi component. More to come on that soon.

We also want to redo our joke database drawing from jokes on the Hive blockchain, rather than jokes on Reddit and will be holding a weekly joke challenge for chances to earn LOLZ and have your joke become part of the LOLZ Project. Keep following us for our announcements.

About LOLZ Token

LOLZ is a brand new Hive engagement token with the mission of spreading laughter and joy on the Hive blockchain. And while the LOLZ Project may have a sense of humor, it is no joke.

LOLZ is the world's first "Proof of Humor" token and is "mined" when LOLZ holders use the !LOL or !LOLZ command in comments to share a clean joke and tip the author a freshly minted LOLZ token.

The amount of LOLZ holdings required to use the commands are shown below. By holding more than the minimum users are able to "level up" and can give up to ten tips per day. As more LOLZ is mined, the minimum holdings will increase to maintain scarcity.

Sure. Right now we are in the column 501-1000, so right now it takes 1 LOLZ to make 1 call per day. Probably in a couple days we will have mined more than 1000 tokens, and then you will need 2 tokens to make one call per day. Does that help?

Hey @jfang003, !LOL and !LOLZ (and !lol and !lolz) works, but you can't use it to tip the @lolztoken account itself (or yourself). But it should work on anyone else.
