So this morning I got $14,000 worth of a coin I never heard of before last night.
But I didn't REALLY get $14,000 worth of the coin. I got "Theoretically" $14,000 worth of the token. And if I follow all the steps during the initial offering, I can add to that total.
What is Initiative Q?
The idea is that you increase the chance of a token/payment system succeeding by building mass adoption. You build mass adoption by giving away free tokens to the first adopters.
The earlier you join, the more tokens you get as an early adopter.
You can sign up with either your email address, Facebook, Twitter, or Google Plus account. That's all they ask for.

Actually once you get the first five people to join under you they well open up your next task which is to get 10 more people to join haha. Reading their paper and website, I think the team has been enjoying Canada's relaxed marijuana laws. But who knows, 5 years from now maybe their outlandish claim turns into reality and their coin gets to $1/unit. In which case we will all be selecting multiple yachts, because that means this coin alone will have a $2 trillion market cap

Do I need to have a wallet to keep these tokens?
You don't have to Download a wallet, no. It is all tied to whichever login credentials you sign up with, and stays web based for now. There may be a wallet down the road, but not at this time.
