What IS This?

This series compares (usually) 5 fans per episode on the basis of RPM, airflow (CMH) and pressure differential (degrees of movement). The focus of this series is to help people see how fans compare against each other for the purpose of exhaust performance. After comparing the 5, they are compared against all of the other fans that have already been compared.

Note: Here, pressure differential refers to the maximum movement by the air of a simple paper tool, where very few fans exceed 90 degrees from 0 (off).

A few notes:

• I finally added in a max CFM column, converting from my max CMH test results so people who are used to CFM aren't confused. I did NOT do that for the minimum results, which I don't view as critical. I'll try to make a video specifically for that.
• I noticed a discrepancy for the darkFlash DR12 Pro 3-packs, so I re-tested all 6 fans and discovered that one set runs significantly more slowly than the other. I don't know if it's a different revision or if the slower set is damaged, but the speed difference is the only difference - the airflow and pressure differential are the same.
• I have been unable to find some of my 120 mm fans, so either I have seriously misplaced them, which I suppose is possible, or a box of my fans was stolen during my move last year. Thus, I'm pretty much done with the AF & PD series for the 120 mm fans.
• I will be moving to the 140 mm fans next, since it's the next most common size AFAIK.

Note, I discovered that I put the wrong be quiet! fan into the 120mm list. I inserted Pure Wings 2 High-Speed BL083 140mm but I should've inserted Pure Wings 2 BL081 120mm BQ PUW2-12025-HR-PWM.

The 120mm fan will show up in the next 120 mm episode, which will be done tomorrow. The 140mm fan is in today's episode.

LOL! I've got egg on my face - egg that went through 2 fans! What a mess! 😅
