I can't imagine 17 hrs on a plane would be particularly enjoyable. 8hrs from Singapore to India was enough for me.

Well I for one have traveled 12hours non-stop. But I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Depends on how they make the flight comfortable for their passengers.
