Constellation Taurus ♉️ and Aldebaran

in #aldebaran3 years ago

The stars of the constellation Taurus ♉️ form only the front part of the bull (half of the body) - the head with horns and the belly.
The Sun is in Taurus from May to June. This is a bright constellation that is clearly visible in the night sky, as it consists of stars of 1-3 magnitudes.
The center of the bull figure is a red star called ALDEBARAN. This star is also called BUCK'S EYE.

It is interesting that in Latin Al de bar - sea bass, and the name of this fish also symbolizes the eye.
The Greeks and Romans also have their own names for this star, they are translated as - ** torch glowing in the night sky **. Sometimes translated as Lighthouse. The Tarians called her Yuta (they also called the star Capella, which symbolizes the goat on the shoulder of the constellation Charioteer)
** ALDEBARAN ** red giant (45 times the size of the sun)
He is one of the 4 stars that are called the guardians of heaven, the full composition of which consists of alpha stars - Fomalhaut, Regulus, Aldebaran and Antares.
