Still Alive After 2 Days Of No Electric

in #alive2 months ago

Life in paradise is not always easy, especially when living hours away from a big city.

In the outer areas we have a tendency to lose lights and water more frequently.

This one we were warned about at 6:00 AM by the landlord. Lights go off at 8:00 Am and back on at 3:00PM.

3:00 PM, which day? LOL

Sure enough at about 3:30 PM they were back on.

Then by about 4:30 PM they were on and of again with maybe 10 to 15 minute breaks until about 6ish where they dod not come back on until about 6:30 PM the next night.

As soon as they came on the owners were out front turning on the pump to fill the water tanks on the 5th floor roof from the below ground holding tank out front.

The good news is with no internet people were out socializing.

The wine flowed and our new temporary neighbor Javier, from Barcelona, hung out and we ate good food and drank wine.

We had some great conversation and great food to go along with it.

Javier is an entire other post I will put together.

I love the people I have met along my life journey the last 18 years in Central America.
Sure enough at about 3:30 PM they were back on.
