If you you don´t know Alpacas belong to the camelid Family and are native in South America. They are often mistaken for their closely relatives the Llamas.

But hey are bit smaller then their relatives.

Their fur is amazingly soft and used to produce blankets, cloves, hats, sweaters and all kind of textiles. They have high quality wool and the prices of for their wool is quiet expensive because it does not grow so fast.

They have been very gentle and easy to walk, though they would stop a lot to eat the fresh grass along the way.

Our Guide told us that they can be a bit stubborn sometimes. Fortunately it was not the case with us.

But sometimes they want to go a bite faster an start dragging you behind.

It was fun running a bit with them. Though they would also stop and wait for their fellows.

There are tours offered for people with issues like depressions or autism which i can understand. The gentle characters well as there cute appearance makes one very happy and you can easily forget your problems. Just watching them brings a smile on most peoples face.

Alpaca tours have become very popular recently and i have to admit it was delightful to spend some time with this amazing animals.
