مدينة القدس
مدينة القدس أو كما يطلق عليها زهرة المدائن أو بيت المقدس، هي محضن النبوات، فهي أولى القبلتين وثالث الحرمين الشريفين، تقع مدينة القدس في وسط فلسطين إلى الشرق من البحر الأبيض المتوسّط، وترتفع حوالي 750م عن سطح البحر الأبيض المتوسط، و1150م عن سطح البحر الميت، ومناخها معتدل.

نبذة تاريخية
بنى الكنعانيون مدينة القدس سنة (3000 سنة قبل الميلاد)، وسمّيت بيبوس، نسبةً إلى (مليك صادق ملك الكنعانيين) الذي عرف بالتقوى والسلام، وكان يطلق عليه ملك السلام، ومن ثمّ جاءت تسمية مدينة القدس باسم أور شاليم، أي مدينة سالم، قبل أن يتمّ احتلالها من قبل بني صهيون، ولكن يظلّ اسم القدس أي المكان المطهّر من الذنوب هو الغالب، وهي أكبر المدن الفلسطينية مساحةً، حيث تقدّر مساحتها حوالي 19331كم2، كما تعتبر عاصمة دولة فلسطين، ويحيط بمدينة القدس القديمة سور منيع ارتفاعه 40 قدماً، وله سبعة أبواب وهي، باب الخليل، وباب الجديد، وباب العامود، وباب الساهرة، وباب المغاربة، وباب الأسباط، وباب النبي داود عليه السلام، وتكثر فيها المكتبات والمتاحف الذي تدلّ على أهميتها الثقافية.

أهمية القدس الدينية للقدس
مكانةً عظيمةً عند الديانات الثلاث على حد سواء، فقد عاش الكثير من الرسل والأنبياء في القدس، فبالنسبة للديانة اليهودية، قبل ألف سنة من الميلاد، وعندما فتح الملك داوود مدينة القدس جعل منها عاصمةً لإسرائيل، ثم بنى ابنه سليمان الهيكل فيها كما يزعمون، أمّا في الديانة المسيحيّة، تعتبر مدينة القدس مكاناً مقدّساً؛ لأنّ السيد المسيح عليه السلام قد صلب على إحدى تلالها، كما ذكر في العهد الجديد، أما في الديانة الإسلامية، فالقدس هي ثالث أقدس بقاع الأرض بعد مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، وهي أولى القبلتين، والموقع الذي عرج منه سيدنا محمد عليه السلام إلى السماء، كما ذكرت في القرآن الكريم، وتضم القدس العديد من المعالم الدينية، التي يمكن تحديدها على النحو التالي:
المسجد الأقصى: وهو ثاني مسجد بناه سيدنا إبراهيم عليه السلام بعد الكعبة المشرفة، كما ذكر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وتعني كلمة الأقصى، الأبعد والمقصود بها بعده عن مكة المكرمة، ويقع على جبل موريا، داخل أسوار مدينة القدس.
مسجد قبة الصخرة: وهو من الأماكن المقدسة، فقد اتخذ منه سيدا إبراهيم عليه السلام معبداً، وأقام سيدنا يعقوب عليه السلام عنده مسجداً بعد أن رأى عموداً من النور فوقه، ونصب اليوشع عليه السلام خيمة الاجتماع التي أنشأها موسى عليه السلام، وبنى سيدا داوود عليه السلام المحراب فوقه، وشيد سليمان عليه السلام المعد العظيم عنده، ومنه عرج الرسول صل الله عليه وسلم إلى السماء، ليلة الإسراء وصلى في الأنبياء والرسل، ويقع على جبل موريا، ويقابل المسجد الأقصى.
حائط البراق: وهو الحائط المحيط بحرم المسجد الأقصى من الناحية الغربية، و يعتبر جزءًا من الحرم الشريف، وسمّي كذلك نسبةً إلى المكان الذي ربط عنده الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم براقه ليلة الإسراء و المعراج ، ويطلق عليه اليهود اسم حائط المبكى، لاعتقادهم أنّه من بقايا الهيكل العظيم، الذي دمّره الملك هيرودوس قبل 18 سنة من الميلاد، وجعلوا منه مكاناً مقدساً للصلاة.
كنيسة القيامة، بنيت سنة 326م، في العصر البيزنطي من قبل الملكة هيلانة، ويطلق عليها كنيسة القبر المقدّس، حيث يعتقد أنّها تحتوي على قبر السيد المسيح، وأنّها بنيت قرب المكان أو فوق مكان الصخرة التي صُلِب عليها المسيح.

Mosque of the Dome of the Rock: It is one of the holy places, it was taken from him the master of Abraham peace be upon him a temple, and established our master Jacob peace be upon him a mosque after seeing a column of light above him, and erected peace be upon him the tent of meeting established by Moses peace be upon him, The mihrab above it, and built Solomon peace be upon him prepared great, and from him the messenger of the Prophet peace be upon him to heaven, the night of Isra and prayed in the prophets and messengers, and is located on Mount Moriah, and meet the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Buraq Wall: It is the wall surrounding the Haram al-Aqsa Mosque in the west. It is considered part of the Haram al-Sharif. It is also referred to as the place where the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) linked him to the night of Isra and Maraj. Of the remains of the Great Temple, destroyed by King Herod 18 years before the birth, and made it a holy place of prayer.
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, built in 326 AD in the Byzantine era by Queen Helena, is called the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where it is believed to contain the tomb of Jesus, and it was built near the place or above the place of the rock which Christ crucified.
