It's been a rough week on the markets. After a huge first week in our HODL challenge, the second week of 2018 has been...A roller coaster for sure.
Lots of sell offs, red days and consolidation has stalled our experiment and while we are down from last week we are still up since January 1st. Let's dive in a take a look:
Substratum (SUB) 20 coins @ $2.10
Stallar (XLM) 40 coins @ $0.63
FunFair (FUN) 250 coins @ $0.13
SONM (SNM) 50 coins @ 0.47
Bread (BRD) 10 coins @ $1.87
Total $142.70
So we're down $32.40 since last week but still up $42.70 since January 1st. We're half way through the challenge so let's see how far we can climb or how much it might dip.
Remember, the HODL Challenge started with only $100 invested and the only rule for picking these coins was....I didn't own any of them on December 31st 2017.
O.K. I admit...That's not the most 'savvy' advice for picking crytpo but it's meant to be fun and to see how random we can get for choosing coins . Exactly how much we can earn by just....Sticking to it and not selling.

Who knows right...After all, it is crypto! But it's exciting and I know I'm having a blast!

With all the movement in crypto this week, our HODL experiment has proven to be quite interesting. On the plus side, not being able to buy/sell these coins means you just watch and don't stress over changes.
Given they were randomly selected, I think we are doing quite well overall. Two weeks to go. Up/down, where will we end up? Either way, this has been a blast so far!
Agreed. Been learning lots and I love that we can't touch them. That in itself, has been a huge lesson.
