A lovely Monday to you, my steemain friends. It is a chilly day over here and it would seem that the rains are finally here. We, over at altruistic-steem, know that Monday can be a bit off after the fun and relaxation during the weekend and as a result we have decided to help lighten your mood.
First off, we are doing an altruistic community contest. We, as a community, believes in all the goodness and beauty that steemit can offer as a platform and how much each individual steemian can make another steemian’s life better.
So many of us have been blessed, both on and off steemit, since we became a part of the blockchain revolution. The blessings could be financial, knowledge, skill, connections, purpose, etc. These blessings have enabled us, given us a voice, sustained us financially and given us a purpose. What are we doing to show appreciation then? How are we utilizing this new found favor?
Well altruistic-steem would like you, both those of you who have been favored in the past as well as those of you who are yet to receive favor from anyone, which we sincerely doubt, to share with us how you have gone about paying it forward. Share with us on what help you have rendered lately, who you have helped, why you helped the person and how you helped the person.
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
• In not more than 500 words, write a post on how you have been of help to anyone on steemit. Tell your readers the how, the why, the who and the when.
• Upvote and resteem this post
• Drop link of your post in the comment below
• Use altruistic-steem tag as first tag
• It must be original content.
• Contest will last until this post’s payout.

- Ist: 2 sbd and 30 platforms
- 2nd: 1.5 sbd and 20 platforms
- 3rd: I sbd and 20 platforms
- 4th: 1 sbd and 10 platforms
- 5th: 0.5sbd and 5 platforms

JUDGES

We are also organizing a curation show on our discord server today, the 14th of may, 2018. It would start by 9pm GMT+2, 8pm GMT+1 and 4pm EST.
