One thing that is quite popular with Twitter is the fact that it is a 'microblogging' social site. One thing that #altyes has done, is given people the ability to do just that! It has never been our primary objective, but there all kinds of neat little things we worked into both #altyes and #hivetips. Granted, there is and always will be that 300 character minimum when posting to the Hive blockchain to reduce the nonsense spam of simply a link, but on other places like #instagram or #facebook, by all means - drop em freely! HA!
