The chemical inertness makes it perfect to use even in the manufacturing of those products which will be used in water, steam or even in an atmosphere where the temperature reaches its extreme level. It doesn’t corrode due to highly resisting qualities because the effect of corrosion substances becomes zilch when they reach to alumina.

Insulating Properties
Every industry needs to have a material that shows excellent insulation because products which can be operated by using the electricity are manufactured with the help of a material that has outstanding insulating properties. Well, if you want to make a product that needs insulation of a low level then you can ponder the type of ceramic in which, these properties exist at a low level. Well, the industrialists can even use it for fuel cells and furnace lead-in tubes.

Thermal Properties

Al2O3 is used in the manufacturing of these utensils and pots whereas high-performance heat sinks and many other products also depend on ceramic for giving a perfect use. The crockery industry is excelling in the field whereas the main component of the manufacturing process is ceramic and the times when alumina’s production become low, the crockery industry has to face a lot of issues and during this time, the prices also go high because industry owners have to buy ceramic at a high rate due to which, it affects the rate of every product.

The tile industry is one of the largest industries worldwide and the main component on which the whole industry depends is ceramic because whenever the market analysis has been made, it is found that ceramic tiles have more demand as compared to other types because marble is also not as much popular as ceramic tiles. The hardness of tiles depends on the quality of alumina that is used in the production process and if you do compromise on the quality, the hardness and resistance to wear and tear will be affected badly.

Switch Boards and electric Wiring
The switchboards which are common and used in almost every room are also made of ceramic whereas the tube lights and other electric bulbs are usually produced by using fused silica glass because it plays a vital role for keeping the glass neutral from outside. The glass of bulbs should not get the effect of current because in that case, you cannot touch it for a comfortable use however such material gets the effect of heat when the bulb or tube light is turned ON for a long period of time. Switchboards are also easy to install and use as the alumina and fused silica make it hard and sturdy whereas it restricts the flow of current to unwanted place. Well, fused silica glass has high radiation resistance as well due to which, it is convenient to use.
