Finally something a security device worth spending money on (almost) – Cyborg Unplug – a solid adapter like square device that can detect any wireless harmful threat in your surroundings. It says on their website “Your defense against wireless surveillance.” Currently it is only available to preorder, this device has already sparked a great sensation on Der Spiegel, CNN Informationweek, Wired, The Verge and RT.

With their famous “Plug to Unplug” slogan the device becomes a wireless surveillance system. It simply detects those devices that can pose harmful threat to your privacy on your home, work or business router.

Since technology is becoming more and more complicated. For instance take a look at Google Glass; those things can literally scan a person and identify them. And that is not where it stops, we have drones, hidden cameras and other wearable gadgets that are able to spy on the target and are a becoming a big problem to our privacy. So a group of people from Berlin (Germany) with the same interest in privacy decided to build device. And according to them the device works in simple 4 steps.

1st step is to plug the Cyborg Unplug into a place that you would like to be surveillance free. Step 2 is to connect your PC, laptop, tablet or cell phone to Cyborg Unplug wirelessly. Then it will ask you to select devices that you would like to be blocked i.e. Google Glasses, Drones, Wall Pieces and other wearables; this was step 3. Then finally step 4; install Cyborg Unplug Alert application on your smartphone (application available on both iOS and Android) so you may receive alerts when detects and blocks a device.

Waoo amazing

This is interesting. I bet this would be temporary cos hackers would still looking for a way to bypass this technology.

Looks like it could do a good job but might be cost and might not even be that functional as it looks

I think more Technology could be incorporated into this one if not it's gonna be kinda boring and easily scrapped.
