The Peruvian strawberry or Chinese lantern is a shrub on which berries grow. It can grow up to one meter in height, so it is suitable for balconies facing south or west. It blooms from spring to autumn. The white flowers turn into green lanterns, which turn beige at the end of August.
Physalis peruviana - known as "cage love", also known as wild cherry. It is also known as "Inca fruit"
So I dedicate this post..
#AmazingNature hosted by great @adalger π
Nature is wonderful and each segment of it has its own purpose!
This ornamental and medicinal plant, until recently I didn't even know it was medicinal ..... full of various vitamins and antioxidants!
You can always learn something from nature ....
It is also very decorative, it brings cheerful tones to these gray days ....π
How it turns into a lantern is really miraculous ... Part by part of the shell dries and slowly disappears, and you reach a fruit that is tasty and healthy. I found these specimens in the forest, and they can also be grown at home ...
And I will try that in the spring π. I canβt wait for that plant to decorate my garden. I must also reveal to you what they call this plant here in my area, jokingly of course π€
Priestly balls...
In the end, the lanterns are completely circled and only orange balls remain...
And finally, a photo of the autumn forest .... The colors are slowly fading and only bare grayish branches and greenish pines remain ...
I hope you enjoyed this autumn moments a little more .... ππππ₯°ππππππ
