Optimize web application performance by configuring Amazon CloudFront for static and dynamic content

in #amazon5 months ago

Properly setting up Amazon CloudFront for static and dynamic content involves creating different caching rules for different types of data. Static content is stored for a long time on edge locations, which significantly speeds up site loading and reduces the load on the origin. For dynamic content, such as API requests, CloudFront forwards requests directly to the backend with minimal latency, ensuring timely information updates. Setting up a caching policy and behavior (cache behavior) allows you to take into account headers, cookies, and URL parameters so that the user always receives relevant content. Using Amazon CloudFront for both types of content is a great way to improve the performance and scalability of applications.
