If you pay for Amazon Prime as I do, this is a reminder of one of the FREE services you receive as a Prime member. Amazon Prime Photos is the cloud storage service for Prime members that gives you unlimited photo storage and 5GB of video and file storage. I've used this for over a year and now have over 17 thousand pictures stored. I upgraded my video/file storage to 105GB for $11.99 per year and there are larger packages available if you shoot a lot of video.
Go to Amazon.com/photos and download the desktop application. I will say it's not user friendly and it took me a while to figure out how to use it. But the app you can download to your phone is great. You can set your phone to automatically backup your pictures and videos so you never have to worry about loosing your favorite pictures if your phone dies. Plus I will admit I rarely back up my phone, so the auto-backup feature is great for me. I have it set to only work over wi-fi so I do not use up my data plan doing backups.
I hope this reminds you to back-up your phones photos and videos, as well as getting the most out of your Prime membership.
