My Story So Far
I seriously don’t know where to start from so am just going to let it flow. Winks
Am Great Atare Onomor but you can stick to the @atare on steemit, am a web developer with years of experience who designs too. Am an accountant by profession but not fully practicing for now. I started my steemit race in November 2017. Yeah, i was introduced by @crystalll and @bait002.
Joining the steem blockchain has been a new and exciting experience for me because it is different from the regular crypto world i was familiar to. The steem blockchain is revolutionary. Only a few are familiar with the Blockchain technology over here but this has eaten down and cut across the barriers faced by other blockchains because its interactive and it has a social media interface that will eventually wipe out our regular social media platforms in years to come.
That is why i chose to be part of this future by ensuring that the steem blockchain gospel is heard by everyone in the world by representing, standing for and becoming an ambassador of steem.

MY CONTRIBUTION TO THE STEEM BLOCK CHAIN AND ACHIEVEMENTS
I have always had this philosophy that we all are responsible towards making the world a better place. With this in mind i go about any activity, community, business etc the same way. I think of ways to contribute and create value wherever i find myself because we are all saddled with the responsibility to make it better since it is a good initiative and we benefit from it one way or another. Even when i don’t benefit from thing but i see its going to help make the world a better place i still contribute to make it better.

STEEM DEVELOPMENT GOAL ONE (1) MILLION USERS
This was the first initiative launched by me to promote the steem blockchain to rope in users and investors. The aim of this initiative is to ensure that we bring in one million users on the steem blockchain while carrying out its activities.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF SDG1MU
- To bring in one million users (investors) through actively preaching the steem gospel.
- Organizing meetups and seminars in various locations
- Teaching minnows and mentoring them on how to mine through investment in cash and time

STEEMEXCHANGER is an exchange platform that is dedicated to the conversion of STEEM and SBD fiat currencies and vice versa. The platform has the ability to convert Steem digital assets to 35 fiat currencies in Africa with Naira as its maiden currency. The aim is to ensure that people find a more subtle way to invest in the Steem blockchain.
SteemExchanger was built out of the need to fill the gap that exists between Africans and the blockchain technology. Currently African are still new comers in the cryptocurrency space and most lack the skills to trade crpto-assets on conventional exchanges such as Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia, Binance, Yobit e,t,c, hence the need for a simpler method of being enlisted in the cryptocurrency arena especially the Steem Blockchain.
The conventional method of exchanging Steem assets (Steem and SBD) before the launch of steemexchanger.ng in Nigeria was through social media channels such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord. This method was bedeviled with a lot of challenges which includes.
- Loss of cash while trying to convert.
- Buyers and sellers misunderstanding.
- Scammers hijacking the process and defrauded many innocent individuals of their hard earned money.
- Most people are unaware of these medium so are discouraged from investing their time and resources and many more.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF STEEMEXCHANGER
- To become the number one exchange platform that deals on converting Steem and SBD to fait and vice versa.
- To ensure that Africans get fully involved and adopt the blockchain technology.
- To ensure that the STEEM and SBD are used for day to day transactions.
- To leverage on the power of Steem blockchain technology to provide solutions to many industries in Africa.
After 4 months of its existence, SteemExchanger has successfully established two operational branches in Nigeria and Ghana Respectively.

WHY I PROMOTE STEEM
- I promote steem because i know it is going to solve the problem of the oppressed by its decentralised system.
- I see it as a means to help the unemployed and reduce crime rate.
- Its an investment now and for the future
- To help ensure that Africa is enlisted and adopts the block chain technology because it is the only way to boycott our corrupt system of leadership.
- The steem tokens are the curruency of the future and i want to be part of that future.
WHY I WANT TO BECOME A STEEM AMBASSADOR
- Because i share in the philosophy of representing the block chain and my love for the block chain. ( if we don’t promote the steem block chain who will?)
- Being a steem ambassador puts me on a platform of deploying the numerous initiative i have to improve my community on establish SBD/Steem as usable currency offline.
- It attaches more credibility when speaking with investors
MY FUTURE PLANS AS A STEEM AMBASSADOR
There is lot that i will be doing going forward as a steem ambassador, for the fact i work with a team, we have put together the biggest Code Camp that have ever happened before on steemit.
THE CODE CONNECT PROJECT
Code connect project is one of SteemExchanger’s most important project. The project seeks to teach Steemians in our community who are interested in developing apps on the Steem blockchain how to code. The rationale behind the project is to develop the technical abilities of the Nigerian and Ghana community to be able to build apps that run on the Steem blockchain. Currently, the SteemExchanger team is directly involved in almost all well-built technological infracstructure on the steem blockchain originating from Africa. Its our passion to bring the steem blockchain to the grassroot. Steem blockchain becomes more powerful if more apps both fun and utility based are built on it for example (Utopian.io, Dmania.lol, D.Tube et.c). The benefits of the project are enormous, below are few amongst the plethora of benefits.
- This project will increase the popularity of the Steem blockchain in our community.
- This will suffice as a lot of apps that will be Used in these countries will have something to do with the Steem blockchain. We achieve this by ensuring that every Steemians that participate in this project will develop a full-blown app on the blockchain.
- New users will join Steemit
- Investors will know more about Steem and be willing to invest in the blockchain.
