From where I stand, America is still that land of opportunity, People like Trump however is still the reason why immigration Phenomenon might change unless he stops being president. Immigrants however are what when you look at you'll say they've brought a lot of positive contribution rather than negative and I'm also placing my country in the equation

American cultures (yes plural) is literally a mix of cultures of all the people who have immigrated to America in the last few hundred years. They change, grow and adapt to new realities over time. Denigration of American cultures is atleast as likely to come from within as without.
