The author of my life progress,
That was actually on the GPS,
On a three-mile gravel section line,
I took a selfie on its spine.
It was not the fastest route,
But it had its place on Earth,
The chapter book’s substitute,
With written story on my shirt.
From As to Zs between the trees,
I smiled to immortalize the “cheese;”
Like a bookmark in a text block,
I was putting back the clock.
From the story of transcendence,
Sprout up the independence,
And me, Americans, a good guy,
Wish us a Happy Fourth July!
