I write a plan of the speech on the paper with the pen. You know why not typing all that on PC?

Yes, @stuffy. I do agree. Writing with pen on paper, ideas are much easier to form and express. Nice post.

Thank you. I think, the problem with presentations is even deeper. Whom would you be more interested to listen to?

  • the person who reads from the slides that everyone can read without him/her
    OR
  • the person who speaks out of his mind, checking some paper in front of him sometimes?

Psychologically, for the audience, the first type seem to be less professional, less prepared and less meaningful. EVEN IF the text will be almost the same.

Slides are ok ONLY IF you show just pictures. Graphs should be e-mailed =) not shown during presentations, on my opinion.

And yeah, if to convert all the graphs to simple numbers in percents, everybody will understand the whole situation easily
