Synthetic vitamin D added to organic milk? I don't like any "fortified" additives in my food because it might be unhealthy synthetic vitamins, but they treat it as if they're doing us a favor.

Exactly. Apparently it's for the public good you see... the public being the big pharma and their government friends. Vitamin A is also mandatory for milk with reduced fat but it can be avoided by using whole milk. Vitamin D goes to all milk, apparently lanolin laced with chemicals is great for your health.
