RE: Anarchy Cannot Work

in #anarchy7 years ago

Well, as you said, "anarchy cannot work".

There is no path to, "lets just get rid of authority."

In all groups of people there is hierarchy.
In the family, it is usually the father.
Further, the family is run as a commune.

After that, even villages are run as a commune.

So, communism is easily found in group structures, but anarchy, not so much.

Anarchy really isn't found in nature.
What we might call anarchy is really free market capitalism.
Where two guys meet and exchange goods.

There is no incremental steps towards anarchy.

What we see is things like the DMV being replaced by robots. such as registering your car on the block-chain.

Over time we will probably see a lessening of coercive control as better and more efficient ways of people organizing are found.

Lastly, as people become more intelligent, they are more capable to govern themselves.

In the end, we may end up in something that looks like anarchy, but it won't be called anarchy.

Sort:

Yes the anarchy we get is never called anarchy. But I am not so sure people are getting more intelligent, i think it is just technology moving forwards while humans remain where they are (until we get cyborgs and modifications of the human brain)

Instead of saying more intelligent, it may be better to say more wise.
We have entered the age of enlightenment... actually it is more we are leaving the age of endarkenment. Where everything we were taught in schools was wrong, and to make it more difficult to think.

So, as we get rid of all of these self-conflicting thoughts, we think clearer.

Sounds most accurate.

We have these technologies since less than 0.1% of our history.

Evolution cant be that fast.
