"Who will build the roads?"
Imagine if you will, a world where government is separate from the State; where government is a choice rather than a monopoly.
Blockchain transparency and accountability combined with open source collaborative crowd sourcing can provide all the services we currently associate with government monopolies. A decentralized and accountable market of choices rather than a monopoly of violence and extortion can lead to a much more efficient, higher quality and peaceful product or service.
The example of roads:
How?
- Crowd sourcing.
- Contract creation and execution.
- I can even see a social app like this but geared toward something specific such as whatever is needed to run a road safely being used to govern the actual use and maintenance of it.
I would really like to talk with people who could put the pieces together better than this with actual technology. Do you have any recommendations?

In this world, roads would be built by private companies and then converted to tollroads. We would end up paying the same amount or more in tolls. Just my 2cents though
I suppose that could happen, but if there was competition, then another road could take their business. That should raise the quality and lower cost, is what I think.
They could even create smart roads that only allow self-driving cars.
Yeah, they may even provide the vehicles to meet their needs. Possibilities could be endless.
Great post.
Followed.
Thanks. I followed back. I'm sure there is a better way than what we have now.
Good post buddy!
I'm glad you think so. Hopefully, folks smarter than me can show us how.
Food for thought dude
Thanks. I just keep thinking there are better ways.
