it certainly would be better, but I do not like the idea of democracy for fundamental reasons. There is no reason why anyone should have the right to interfere in the private business of other people. Not an individual and also not a group of people.
Democracy has to be reserved to only manage public goods such as land, water, air, ... . For all the rest every individual should be fully sovereign.
Yes, I was more poking fun at the pseudo-democratic system in place on steem.. It's what we have for now though, which at least offers an opportunity to follow the money. It's not broken just has some kinks..
