As I walked slowly and my barefeet sank into the cool wet forest floor, something caught my eye.
There was something shiny in the leaves, it was a memory. It turned out it was a decision made many years ago with no regard of an outcome.
The choice was made in the blink of an eye, and possibly a decision that was reinforced by culture. A low expectation of personal responsibility or how things effect others.
As we tear through our turn on this earth, are we thinking about how our decisions might impact others. There are major things happening in our world today that will live on forever.
Our love for human survival has put us in a position of responsibilty. If we are going to survive as a people, can we do it like this.

As I continued down this thread of thought I began to think about how much impact my life has on others.
Are my daily decisions going to effect another person years from now. Will they be impacted, not by my words, but my decisions.
I am a believer that the idea of good or bad are in the mind of the individual.
We cannot stop others from doing what we consider to be bad. We can only show others what we consider to be good.
Cultures are steered by what the masses believe. Can we impact the entire state of the world now, and in the future, by making one decision.
I hope you find encouragement in my words. Until I am able to produce everything I need without the use of machines and electricity, I will always have another decision to make. Be well! 🙃

It scares me a bit that you were not wearing shoes with this stuff lying around and saddens me that it was there in the first place.
Yeah, I usually wear shoes until I get into the woods and then take them off. I have never found trash that far in. Its terrible.
