RE: Have to share this. ATTN: All “Pragmatists” “Let’s All Just Get Along” Types. THIS IS WHAT YOU FAIL TO GRASP.

Something that works poorly, in those places the roads are terrible and getting anywhere takes forever and entails random people pointing AK47s in your face demanding tolls, goods and services are consequently more expensive and less available.
There is a lot of history and a whole lot of different political arrangements that people have already tried, I don't know that there is anything that has not been tried at some time or place, if there is something I would like to know how it is supposed to work exactly.

Sort:

Are you talking about third and second world countries? Places where, let's be honest, the average IQ is pretty low? Do you think they are a good comparison to how things could work in a more evolved society?

I could be wrong, but I believe we have evolved and learnt an awful lot over the years and just because it didn't work in the past, it doesn't mean it can't with in the future. If we can find enough empathy to free slaves and accept people for who they are, maybe we have a chance to allow people the choice to opt out of current systems.

The ideal would be for government to slowly minimise their hold as a way forward is found for the smoothest way for things to go, but power is addictive and I don't see them agreeing to that. At the moment they are just getting more and more restrictive and oppressive and I don't see the pattern changing.

No system has ever lasted and eventually it comes crumbling down. We fear change, but it inevitably happens. I notice many people are wanting more freedom, you included. It doesn't mean we all agree on the same ways to achieve it though. For you there is an importance on infrastructure being kept and maintained, for anarchists there is more importance placed on sovereignty and freedom. Infrastructure is nice, but you don't absolutely need it to live, only to live to a certain standard.

I think what is trying to be said, here, is that they feel sovereignty is more important than infrastructure and they'll take that even if it means they can't have roads.

do you have a chart of IQ by country? I've never heard much about that.

" Infrastructure is nice, but you don't absolutely need it to live, only to live to a certain standard."

Yeah, what you might call a first world standard. Seems like a lot of these fellows all choose to live in places with excellent roads and infrastructure and complain. There are plenty of places you could go live without roads and shit in a bucket and never come in contact with a representative of the central government. I like driving on nice roads and enjoying free speech and the right to bear arms and that cannabis is legal for those who choose it, better than living anywhere else.

do you have a chart of IQ by country? I've never heard much about that.

Google. There are plenty around.

While free speech and the right to bear arms lasts, you should be fine. Fewer and fewer places have this any more.

Agreed, I fear for those people. A couple more Supreme court appointees by Trump like Gorsuch and we will be free for another generation.
