So much yes!
The drug war, is responsible for so much of the terrible conditions that lower class communities find themselves in. and all predicated on the idea that adults can not make and be responsible for their own stupid choices.

The drug war is one of the ugliest facets of policing for profit. Putting people in cages and ruining their lives though they've harmed no one. And making taxpayers pick up the tab for all of it.
