Agreed. In order to propel humanity in a more enlightened direction, we have to do the exact opposite of what we have raised to do (uphold the group), and, instead, argue for and live as an individual with a born right to exist as an individual. Easier said than done at times. I realize this. Yet what worth doing is easy?
