Kokesh now upvoting posts calling for violent "hits" / murder on people. Please explain, @adamkokesh.

in #anarchy6 years ago (edited)

After insinuating (as he has done with others as well) in a cringey, gossipy video, that his former staffer who allegedly mishandled funds is a "COINTELPRO plant" with "handlers," @adamkokesh is now upvoting commentary calling for violent "hits" to be put out on her, and direct threats of violence to others.

Adam, why did you upvote this comment calling for a "hit" to be put out on your former staffer?:

NOTE: The other upvoter is an acquaintance of mine who upvoted due to the fact that the comment criticized the Kokesh smear video which he also thought was ridiculous, and not because of the "hit." request.

In case you are wondering what kind of "hit" is being referenced, and need further evidence, in the same comment section, I asked.

@adamkokesh, why did you upvote a comment calling for murder or physical punishment against your former treasurer? I am hoping I misunderstood something here.

I got a death threat of my own:

Though the @adamkokesh team is already active on Steemit today, no address has been made of these issues/comments. He had initially flagged the comment when I explicitly notified him of the threat and call for a mafia-style "hit," but then backpedaled after I released this post detailing his abusive voting patterns using delegated SP here on the platform (80 dollar upvotes for copy pasta YouTube vids with no text on friends' accounts, his own single memes, and 20 - 100 dollar single comment self-upvotes). Now he has upvoted the comment referenced in this post. Finally, at least, some community members are getting wise to these patterns of milking/gaming the platform for political and financial advantage without giving a whole lot back, and actually, it would now seem, potentially physically endangering some individuals.

THANK YOU GRAHAM @kafkanarchy84.
Maybe kokesh should pull the rod out of his ass and realize he is PROMOTING murder. I read the entire thing and am very familiar with what is happening there. Not good. Hope i don't get my account fucked by kokesh supporters

Yep. He flip-flopped twice, too, after repercussions (loss of rewards/rep called into question) and has switched back to a downvote. He removed the first one though, which actually damaged the threatening party’s account. He restored their account rep.

The multiple threats of physical violence to me remain unaddressed. And so does the talk of the “hit.” I have more to release soon. I cannot believe people still believe in this charlatan.

He seems to be mentally unstable. Not good. Makes me def worry about postimg any counterarguments which i've wanted to
Thx for the resteem on my post btw

I understand. He/his team have threatened others before--it's on record--and his supporters, some of them, are maniacs. I just wish he would stop shitting all over this platform, and Voluntaryism in general.

At some point, I truly hope that these people understand that they are their own worst enemy if they actually desire the future that they claim they want.

Maybe it’s the authoritarian mentality that they acquired while in the military that makes them the way they are as “libertarians” and “anarchists.” Whatever it is, it makes them undesirable to both libertarians and statists alike. They must really enjoy irrelevance and sabotaging their own “revolution.”

Anyway...I did a thing...

Charlatan is the word. Dude is really insidious man. I’m not even sure if he knows he is doing it at times. People are sometimes afraid to call him out, though, so thank you.

Being afraid to speak out has always done wonders for people. I guess the question to ask is, “Why are they afraid?” If it’s due to fear of him or his violence-prone sycophants, then that’s a serious problem, especially for “libertarians.”

Perhaps these people ought to ponder that for a bit and maybe reassess their behavior and plans.

I think he do not see each and every comment posted. Instead divided rewards to first few comments just to appreciate them. He replied on that comment?

He downvoted it when I notified him, and then reversed his vote after I began to post about the abusive voting done via his account.. He saw it. You can see the original comment thread here.

This needs to be answered! Resteem done.

This guy is Starting to look like a Trump-like reactionary appealing to libertarian/anarcho-capitalist groups. He is still better than most politician though.

That’s like saying “better leech.”

Exactly! He is a less worse problem and not a solution. It's much like Bitcoin that is slow, expensive, can't handle much volume and totally lacking in privacy features. You won't get rid of banks with Bitcoin. That's a joke. But despite all of its problems Bitcoin > Banks. I wouldn't want to see Kokesh as Mr. President. But that doesn't stop me from considering him to be better (/Less worse) than most of the scum that have asked for votes in modern democracies.

In many ways he is far worse. He is a politician infiltrating libertarian/voluntaryist circles. Regular politicians are not a threat like this. The word is: insidious.

I look at the bright side and consider it as intellectual Darwinism. libertarian/voluntaryist circles are the single most intelligent and most difficult to manipulate groups. Kokesh is like an acid test. If someone is a rallying behind Kokesh, you know that person isn't a true Libertarian/ancap.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Kokesh can help libertarian/voluntaryist circles less vulnerable to manipulations/hijacks. You can run away from viruses or develop immunity. You are doing a good job educating people @kafkanarchy84 and only through that we can effectively make these "insidious" acts ineffective.

Thanks for the Reply.

Haha. This is an extremely interesting perspective. Thanks, @vimukthi. Never thought of it that way, really.

You are welcome.

He does not have ancap support...hes a statist.

Still, he tries to appeal to the ancaps.

All politicians lie and try to “appeal” to people. His scam campaign and his threats (and those of his cronies) are disgusting.
